We're Passionate About Equipping College-Bound Teenagers

ABOUT FAITH ASCENT
At Faith Ascent, we are committed to equipping college-bound Christians with a confident and reasoned faith. Founded over a decade ago, our mission is to prepare young believers to navigate the intellectual and spiritual challenges of college life with a deep understanding of why they believe in Jesus.
We envision a world where every Christian student leaves home grounded in the truth of the gospel and connected to a vibrant Christian community on campus. Through thoughtful teaching, engaging discussions, and mentorship, we help students strengthen their faith, think critically, and articulate their beliefs with clarity and conviction.
Our staff, board, and teachers come from diverse Christian traditions but are united in affirming the essentials of the historic Christian faith. We hold to the foundational truths expressed in the historic confessions of faith and find The Lausanne Covenant particularly helpful in emphasizing the evangelistic mission of the universal church.
Join us as we equip the next generation to stand firm, speak boldly, and shine the light of Christ wherever they go.

Our beliefs

We may be from different places
but these remain true.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Galatians 1:1, Ephesians 4:6, Romans 9:5, Colossians 2:9, John 1:1, Acts 5:3-4).
We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and His atoning death through His shed blood. We believe in His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, I Timothy 3:16, John 1:14, Philippians 2:6).
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, but sin has caused separation from Him. Only by grace through faith in Christ alone can we be reconciled to God, a reconciliation made possible through Christ’s death and resurrection (Acts 16:31, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8-9).
We affirm the reality of eternal life for the saved and eternal punishment for the lost (John 6:47, John 10:10, Revelation 22:5).
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in power and glory to consummate history and fulfill God’s eternal plan (I Thessalonians 4:13-5:4, Matthew 24:29-31).
Lastly, we hold that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, serving as the supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Our Values

Base Camp was my first Christian camp experience. I didn't have a lot of high expectations going into this but it was great. I hear my friends talk about going to church camps where they spend all day playing games and singing. That's not for me. Here you just learn so much. We go so deep into these topics it really gets your mind going. I like that. That's for me.

I'm from Hungary and I've always been interested in finding answers to questions people ask me about the Bible. With my friend, I lead a group back home at my school. It's a Christian group that invites non-Christians to attend. We want to answer their questions about Christianity. I took materials from Ron Quick and others and I used them to prepare for my group. Base Camp helped me and helped 25 students back home.

I drive nine hours from Atlanta, GA to St. Louis because this camp is super good.
Before coming here I had a lot of questions that were never discussed in my youth group. Base Camp is a safe place to unpack all these massive questions. I couldn't find this anywhere else and that's why I came back a second time as a leader and a third time as a volunteer. I'm taking these conversations back home
with me every summer.
